East China Architectural Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. is affiliated with the Shanghai Modern Architectural Design Group and was restructured from the East China Architectural Design & Research Institute. Upholding its long history, strong technical capabilities, and solid social reputation, it is one of the earliest large-scale, comprehensive architectural design institutes established in China. Since its founding in 1952, the institute has undertaken design projects spanning 27 provinces and municipalities directly under the central government, as well as 16 countries and regions, completing more than 20,000 engineering designs and consulting services. It has also collaborated with over 100 overseas architectural firms and engineering companies to design more than 300 projects.
