Hangzhou Tourism Distribution Center
Starting July 1, 2019, the Hangzhou Tourism Distribution Center relocated to Xixi Paradise to continue providing services, retaining functions such as transfer services and travel agency operations while discontinuing its passenger transport station functions and no longer offering passenger transportation services. In addition, the small-car tourism transfer services at the Huanglong Sports Center will also be temporarily suspended, though the Xixi Paradise transfer point (No. 21, Zijin Port Road) will remain in place. Passengers heading to Zhoushan, Shengzhou, or Xiaoshan Airport can still board their buses at the West Bus Station.

Xixi Visitor Service Center
Starting April 3, 2015, the Xixi Paradise • Xixi Wetland Visitor Center was completed and officially opened to the public. Visitors can now purchase wetland boat tickets directly at the service center and enjoy direct access to the scenic area. This marks the launch of a dedicated shuttle route connecting Xixi Paradise with Xixi Wetland. Previously, both local residents and tourists had to drive into Xixi Wetland via the Zhoujia Village entrance, which often led to severe traffic congestion during peak travel seasons—especially on holidays—causing not only road jams but also frustrating delays for travelers. Now, visitors can conveniently stop by Xixi Paradise to dine, relax, and enjoy entertainment while exploring the wetlands. From affordable Grandma’s Home restaurants to trendy coffee shops, from budget-friendly hotels to luxurious five‑star resorts, along with movie theaters, dessert boutiques, and bars… the diverse range of offerings and immersive experiences cater to both leisure travelers and young backpackers seeking varied travel adventures. From its initial design and construction in 2014 to its recent inauguration, the Xixi Paradise • Xixi Wetland Visitor Center took just 10 months to complete. As a permanent hub for Hangzhou’s tourism distribution network, it features a large eco‑landscape parking lot, ensuring that whether you’re driving yourself or traveling with a tour group, you won’t have to worry about parking or traffic jams. The opening of the Xixi Paradise Wetland Visitor Center will effectively alleviate traffic and parking pressures during peak tourist seasons.
China Wetland Museum
The China Wetland Museum is located in the southeastern part of Hangzhou Xixi National Wetland Park, covering an area of 20,200 square meters. Officially opened to the public on November 2, 2009, it is the only national-level specialized museum in China—approved by the State Forestry Administration—to be built with a wetland theme, integrating collection, research, exhibition, education, publicity, and recreation into a single, widely accessible institution. The architecture of the China Wetland Museum was designed by the renowned master architect Arata Isozaki. The design uses “Green Hills” as its central motif, seamlessly blending the entire structure with the surrounding hills and creating a uniquely distinctive form. The 30-meter-high observation tower offers panoramic views of the Xixi Wetland, making it one of the park’s most iconic landmarks. The exhibition, designed by the U.S.-based Glaeger Design & Exhibition Company, takes “Wetlands: The Material and Environmental Foundation of Human Civilization and Social Development” as its core concept. The 7,800-square-meter exhibition space is divided into five thematic halls: the Introductory Hall, the Wetlands and Humanity Hall, the China Wetlands Hall, the Xixi Wetlands Hall, the Special Exhibition Hall, and a multi-functional area. Through a variety of approaches—including specimens and landscapes, interactive displays and special effects, experiments and demonstrations—the exhibition systematically and comprehensively showcases the world’s wetlands, China’s wetlands, the threats facing wetlands, and global efforts to protect them. In doing so, it fully highlights the achievements made by the Chinese government in wetland conservation.
Qiyue City
Xixi Paradise Qiyue City was developed through the upgrade and renovation of the former Xixi Paradise Commercial Street. Covering an area of 60,000 square meters, it is a large-scale commercial complex integrating trendy fashion, dining and entertainment, technology and cultural creativity, leisure and sports, as well as tourism and vacation experiences—and it is also Hangzhou’s first outlet project in the western part of the city. The area is surrounded by multiple high-end hotels—including Banyan Tree, Sheraton, Xixuan, and Brook—while also featuring cultural amenities such as the Optimistic Art Center, the Xixi Paradise Art Center, Gangdang • Heart of the City, China’s first music dock, and Poly International Cinema.
Joyful Residence
Xixi Paradise “Yueju” Brand Apartments are located at the intersection of Tianmushan Road and Zijinport Road, comprising eight modern seven‑story buildings. Their architectural style harmonizes with the structures of Xixi Paradise across the street, employing sunken green belts that run through each building from north to south, seamlessly connecting the individual structures. At the same time, the “bridge‑arch” spaces at the base of each building have become a distinctive feature of this project.
Yue Zhuang
Xixi Paradise “Yue Zhuang” is an upgraded, ultra-luxury version of the “Yue Ju” branded apartment complex, designed in collaboration with the team from David Chipperfield Architects (DCA). Located in the heart of Xixi Paradise, it boasts expansive waterfront views across the entire Xixi Paradise area. The design and planning fully preserve the intricate geographical features of the Xixi Wetland, skillfully integrating elements such as fish ponds, green spaces, built-up plots, and the surrounding waterways into a new aesthetic that blends urban sophistication with the distinctive ambiance of the wetland.
Brook Hotel
Brook has developed its own branded hotel in Xixi, spanning 3,500 square meters and featuring 118 guest rooms. Positioned as a young, fast-paced fashion brand, it is deeply loved by young people.
Yuechun Hotel
The Yueshan Hotel is managed by Singapore’s Banyan Tree Group and serves as a sister property to the Banyan Tree Resort at Xixi Paradise. The hotel boasts a total floor area of over 10,000 square meters, featuring 62 guest rooms and a rooftop outdoor swimming pool.
West Pavilion Hotel
The West Wing Hotel boasts a total floor area of 16,000 square meters and features 68 guest rooms and suites, each with a distinct design style. Located on two basement levels and spanning 2,500 square meters, the medical and aesthetic “MetaSpa” is the hotel’s most distinctive service offering.
