Dragon-Boat Paradise: A Thrilling Summer. Yesterday, the opening race of the “2019 Xixi Paradise National Dragon Boat Festival” and the Xixi Tourism Investment Joint Party Committee’s “Stay True to Our Original Aspiration and Strive to Be First” Dragon Boat Race kicked off. The event was jointly hosted by Xixi Paradise and Jiangnan Sports, with a total of seven corporate teams competing. After fierce competition, the “Xixi Paradise Qiyue City” team claimed the coveted dragon head. The venue for this year’s dragon boat race was the Xixi Paradise Water Sports Center.
At yesterday’s competition venue, the participants were fully equipped and attentively listening to the professional coach from Jiangnan Sports explain the structure of dragon boats and key technical principles. After performing the Xixi-specific dragon boat culture ceremony and conducting both land-based and underwater practical drills, the 300-meter race final officially began. Dragons surged forward in competition, their prows slicing through thousands of layers of waves! The “Red Dragon Boats” embody the vanguard spirit of Party members, striving to be the leading team that forever keeps its red heart, consistently maintaining a style of collaborative progress, neither arrogant nor impatient—“taking the lead in responsibility and action.”
The “2019 Xixi Paradise National Dragon Boat Festival” will be open to businesses and organizations of all sizes, aiming to create a dragon boat race that “everyone can participate in.” The event runs from today until September 27, 2019. Currently, the plan is to hold at least one corporate friendly race each week (with races postponed if there are not enough participating boats).
