Hangzhou Xixi Investment & Development Co., Ltd.: An International Tourism Complex Rooted in the Cultural Heritage of Xixi Waterways

From November 5 to November 14, to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Xixi Paradise, the park—along with its five hotels, Xixi Yuerongzhuang, Xixi Sheraton, Licheng Xixuan, Xixi Yuezhen, and Xixi Brook—as well as the Xixi Paradise Art Center, jointly launched the “Xixi Phantom Star Night — From Dusk to Dawn” nightlife series. In addition, renowned brands such as Cirque du Soleil’s “X Show,” Daha Theater Troupe, Meiren Fu, Hailiang Education, Urban Matchmaker, Songguo Planet, and Xijing Bar were specially invited to jointly unveil the mysterious tapestry of Xixi’s nighttime entertainment scene.

Xixi Fantasy Star Night has launched the Xixi Paradise–themed rowboat dinner cruise. The route winds through the serene waters of Xixi Yuerongzhuang and Xixi Sheraton Hotel, seamlessly connecting with the wetland’s tranquil aquatic landscape—perfectly quiet and intimate, with only up to two boats allowed on the water at any given time, ensuring complete privacy. As you glide along, picturesque Jiangnan water towns unfold before your eyes, while you savor exquisite Hangzhou-style cuisine or delicate Jiangnan-inspired dim sum paired with fragrant tea. Compared to a daytime boat ride paired with afternoon tea, this newly introduced evening dinner cruise exudes a more enchanting atmosphere; bathed in soft lighting and swirling mist, it feels like stepping into a fairyland—making it an ideal choice for dates, blind dates, or even proposals. The rowboats at Xixi Paradise are also frequently used by newlyweds for their wedding procession on the water, truly brimming with “joyful energy.”
 

Another quiet, intimate, and distinctly Jiangnan-style date spot is the Lakeside Pavilion at the Sheraton Xixi. It offers Chinese cuisine, French fare, and even hot pot around a cozy hearth. At night, savoring a steaming hot pot while basking in the gentle evening breeze is a uniquely charming and delightful romantic experience. Of course, there’s also the upscale, retro-inspired Sating French Restaurant—so if a traditional candlelit dinner still doesn’t quite satisfy you, why not try “Xixi Night Banquet: A Beautiful Moon and Full Blossoms,” a collaboration between the hotel and the Daha Theater Troupe? This immersive experience includes afternoon tea, Hanfu dressing, a Song Dynasty–inspired handmade workshop, professional theatrical performances, and interactive engagement.

Hangzhou actually hides many charming little pubs perfect for dates. At Xixi Paradise, there’s “Xijing Craft Beer Bar,” nestled inside the Art Center Theater—and its owner is also an independent musician. On November 6, the venue hosted a “Xijing Night” featuring a small band performance; the theater occasionally stages stand-up comedy shows as well. In addition, the Liquor Fairy Bar at Xixi Ritz-Carlton, the Lobby Bar at Xixi Sheraton, and the iLOVE Bar at Xixuan Hotel are all excellent date spots, offering a more relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. They offer drink packages, coffee, evening tea, as well as a variety of Chinese and Western snacks, with a rich selection of late-night options. On weekends, the Sheraton often hosts live classical music performances, while Xixuan screens films in its library.
 

On November 12, Xixi Paradise, in collaboration with the Communist Youth League Hangzhou Municipal Committee, the Municipal Commerce and Tourism Group, and Urban Matchmaker, organized a singles’ social event at Xixuan Library. The event featured romantic movie screenings, stargazing, and astrological chats, as well as a thrilling murder mystery game that kept attendees entertained until dawn.
