From November 5 to November 14, to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Xixi Paradise, the resort—alongside its five hotels, including Xixi Rongsheng Zhuang, Xixi Sheraton, Licheng Xixuan, Xixi Yuezhen, and Xixi Brook—as well as the Xixi Paradise Art Center—jointly unveiled the “Xixi Phantom Star Night: From Dusk Till Dawn” nighttime experience series. In addition, renowned brands such as Cirque du Soleil’s “X Show,” Daha Theater Company, Meiren Fu, Hailiang Education, Urban Matchmaker, Songguo Planet, and Xijing Bar were specially invited to jointly unveil the mysterious tapestry of Xixi’s nocturnal life.

On November 5, a “Lanterns Illuminate Xixi” traditional Chinese-style garden fair kicked off the “Xixi Starry Night” event. More than a dozen elegantly dressed women in Hanfu strolled through the grounds with lanterns in hand, boarded Xixi’s signature oar-powered boats, or made their way to the Lakeside Pavilion, raising their cups in toast and exchanging cheerful banter—transporting visitors back in time to Lin’an as if by magic.
Jiangnan is inseparable from water, and it has a particular fondness for nighttime river cruises. Night tours of the Qiantang River, the Grand Canal, and West Lake are all well-known tourist attractions in Hangzhou—and now, Xixi has also launched its very first nighttime boat tour experience. Compared to other cruise options, each rowing boat at Xixi Paradise can accommodate only about four passengers, with a maximum of two boats operating at the same time. The waterway runs through the hotel grounds, seamlessly connecting to the wetland areas, offering a quiet and intimate atmosphere. Onboard, guests are treated to Hangzhou-style cuisine or Jiangnan-flavored snacks and tea, and they can even change into traditional Hanfu, creating an immersive, time-traveling experience that has drawn many visitors from out of town to come and check in.
On cool autumn nights, when the air is heavy with dew late at night, gathering with family and friends around a hot pot in the quaint, historic lakeside pavilion of the Xixi Sheraton is a uniquely charming and enjoyable experience.
Explore the Wetland Loop and Encounter Jupiter and Saturn
The “Xixi Paradise – Fudi – Green Embankment – Xixi Sculpture Park” wetland loop trail is lined with lush vegetation, boasts fresh air, and features a smooth, even surface—making it the perfect choice for Hangzhou residents to go for evening runs or leisurely strolls. This place is not only a venue for sports and recreation; it’s also a natural classroom, home to rare natural environments and biological resources.
In collaboration with Bingguo Children’s Growth Center, a subsidiary of Xixi Paradise and Hailiang Education Group, a wetland parent–child night observation event was held on November 6. The children donned flashlights and magnifying glasses to explore the Xixi Sculpture Garden in search of nocturnal sprites, create insect habitats, and experience the charm of intangible cultural heritage.
Xixi Paradise also plans to host a family-friendly stargazing tent camp on the lawn of Xixi Yuerongzhuang, offering 20 free registration spots. The instructors from Songguo Planet will not only bring professional astronomical telescopes but will also provide on-site guidance for observation and explain astronomical knowledge. The event will be held on November 12.

Travel Through Millennia of Nightclubs: Young People Should “Have Fun”!
In today’s society, young people have an increasingly diverse range of nightlife options, and bars are perhaps one of the most popular choices. Hangzhou actually hides many unique little pubs—Xixi Paradise, for example, is home to “Xijing Craft Beer Bar,” located inside the Art Center Theater. Its owner is also an independent musician. On November 6, the venue hosted a small-band performance titled “Xijing Night,” and the theater occasionally features stand-up comedy shows as well.
For those elite individuals who usually prefer a low-key lifestyle, the Wine & Spirit Bar at Xixi Rongsheng Resort, the Lobby Bar at Xixi Sheraton, and the iLOVE Bar at Xixuan Hotel are all ideal venues, offering a more relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. The most popular script-murder games and immersive theatrical performances have also been introduced to the resort’s hotels. Amid the pandemic, the semi‑outdoor, open‑air environments of Xixi Paradise’s various hotels have become increasingly popular with consumers, and the combination of dining and immersive experiences is gradually gaining traction. The “Xixi Night Banquet: A Beautiful Moonlit Night” immersive experience launched by Xixi Sheraton tells the story of the Southern Song Dynasty and the French Capetian Dynasty from a thousand years ago. Guests can try on Hanfu, participate in traditional Song-style craft workshops, savor Chinese‑style afternoon tea, enjoy professional theatrical performances, and engage in close‑range, immersive interactions with the actors.
On November 12, Xixi Paradise joined forces with the Communist Youth League Hangzhou Municipal Committee, the Municipal Commerce and Tourism Group, and Urban Matchmaker Network to organize a singles’ social event at Xixuan Library. The event featured romantic movie screenings, stargazing, and astrological chats, as well as a thrilling murder mystery game that kept attendees entertained until dawn.
