A renowned Swiss architectural master and a leading representative of the Ticino School, he blended Italian Rationalism with European Modernism in his design style. His notable works include the Évry Cathedral in France, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in the United States, and the Sartirana Church in Milan, Italy.

Currently, I am responsible for the design of a standalone ownership-based hotel within Xixi Paradise.

Main Design Concept:

The design concept of “luxury is nature” guides the project, placing a striking elliptical geometric form within a lush green courtyard to emphasize its dual identity as both natural and urban. The elliptical geometry resembles a lotus flower floating on the water’s surface; through skillful design techniques, the western side of the ellipse is carved out to create a central grand courtyard partially covered by a glass roof, with an internal functional layout centered around this atrium featuring a semi-transparent roof.

Adjustable terracotta louvers are used to control natural lighting, ensuring indoor comfort while also serving as a façade material that seamlessly integrates with the local context.
