You can experience it at Xixi Paradise.

Although this area boasts得天独厚 natural resources thanks to its wetlands, we深知 that nature education is not as simple as catching a fish or admiring a flower. Thus, we brought together a group of professionals—Yiwei Peiyuan is a public welfare organization jointly founded by a team of professional nature educators, media professionals, and psychological counselors. We are committed to connecting more living beings through nature education, nature-based healing, and nature-themed exhibitions in and around local communities, working together to build a green, harmonious community ecosystem.

Xixi Paradise is committed to ensuring that every nature experience is carefully crafted by teachers, psychological counselors, outdoor enthusiasts, natural scientists, and others, guiding children to explore, discover, and think independently through a well‑structured, step‑by‑step process.

Xixi Wetland is the first and only national wetland park in China that integrates urban wetlands, agricultural wetlands, and cultural wetlands into one. With its rivers, harbors, ponds, lakes, marshes, forests, and grasslands, Xixi Wetland offers a unique wetland landscape, a complex ecosystem, and tens of thousands of plants and animals—making it a true paradise for children to explore nature. The natural experiences at Xixi Paradise can spark children’s curiosity, inspire their imagination, nurture their ability to think independently and from multiple perspectives, and encourage deep reflection and self‑awareness. In short, it allows children to see a bigger world and discover endless possibilities.

Education has always been a challenging endeavor—and nature education that integrates hands-on experience is even more so. It’s not about rote learning or mere knowledge transfer; rather, it’s about walking alongside children, observing and conversing as we go, asking questions along the way, gradually unveiling the mysteries of this world, sparking spiritual fireworks as brilliant as the stars, and weaving a rich, colorful tapestry of thought. We must respect each child’s curiosity and imagination, offering them ample trust and gentle care, allowing them to explore freely in the natural world and express themselves without restraint.

3 Month 13 In the morning, the first session of the Xixi Paradise Parent-Child Nature Experience—“Secrets in Color”—kicked off at the Xixi Paradise Hotel and the Xixi Wetland Lotus Beach Birdwatching Area. The event was divided into five segments: “Name Stack-Up,” “Nature Twins,” “Color Master,” “Color Maze,” and “Color Secrets,” allowing parents and children to immerse themselves in a fantastical maze built from colors, decode the secrets of spring’s hues, weave beautiful, simple messages with color, and let poetic chapters flow forth. This inaugural session was an internal pilot program, primarily open to hotel staff, while three families who were fans of the hotel’s WeChat official account also participated. Throughout the experience, we will gather participants’ insights and feedback, explore the compatibility between parent-child nature experiences and hotel resort offerings, and assess whether this initiative can drive additional revenue and attract more guests, ultimately becoming a major highlight of the hotel’s services.

Through the integration of external expertise, the parent–child nature experience better aligns the hotel’s venues, products, and services with the wetland’s abundant natural resources. It represents an innovative extension of the Xixi Paradise micro-vacation product line and a pioneering attempt at hotel service innovation.

In early spring, during the third month, Xixi Wetland bursts into vibrant hues: peach blossoms blush pink, willows turn lush green, and cherry blossoms bloom pure white. In this beautiful season of burgeoning grasses and soaring birds, Xixi Paradise’s micro-vacation program is set to launch even more engaging family-friendly activities: “Wetland Memories,” “Who Is the Flower Goddess?,” “The Underwater Warfare of Plants,” “Waterbirds on a Spring Outing,” “A Poetry Society by the Water”… More nature-based experiences are soon to be unveiled, allowing us to grow up happily alongside our children and savor warm, heartwarming moments of family time in nature.
