■A New Exhibition Experience Without Staff Guide + Participatory Theater of “Performance”
The curatorial team has named this exhibition “Kong Kong You,” which aims to shrink the entire world down to a screen and present it before the audience’s eyes. Offline, everything may seem empty, but within the tiny smartphone screen, we can materialize the worlds in our minds and explore even more possibilities.
It’s worth noting that “Kong Kong You” is a truly “unmanned exhibition.” As the name suggests, visitors won’t see a single staff member on duty—neither above nor below. The exhibition hours are also flexible; as long as there’s sufficient light, you can explore the various exhibit locations throughout the park at your own pace, free and unfettered. Should the lighting change, you might even stumble upon unexpected delights.
Most exhibitions today take place indoors, or are presented outdoors in the form of installations and other such arrangements. Even when works are located very close to one another, the relationship between the artwork and the viewer remains one of display and observation. Once art is digitized and placed within digital spaces, users can engage with their environment in a more vivid and authentic way: by interacting “around” the artworks and receiving immediate feedback—concepts that resonate with the idea of “breaking the fourth wall” in theater.

Today, everyone has become quite accustomed to using various short-video platforms to direct their own “little theaters.” When this lifestyle comes together in a real-life exhibition, each person can collaborate with their fellow travelers to plan and fully enjoy the pleasures of directing and performing. You stand on the bridge, directing; those who gaze at the scenery, meanwhile, are directing you from upstairs—
The exhibition visitor is both the director and the work itself—“Empty Wanderings”—a collaborative creation involving all those who dwell here or have once stayed.
■Connecting the Past, Present, and Future Technology Refreshes Cultural and Tourism Experiences
Xixi Paradise is actively promoting “technology.” + The integrated and innovative development of culture and tourism involves building virtual platforms within the park, using offline spaces as vessels for groundbreaking experiential explorations that bridge the past, present, and future—delivering to visitors a unique travel experience filled with engagement, memorable moments, and a sense of fulfillment. And all of this is made possible by the vast expanse of space. AR Technological breakthroughs have made it possible to virtually transform vast real-world spaces, creating a digital twin world. In the future, perhaps all spaces, landscapes, and stores will become stages for the “virtual world,” serving and empowering more artists and brands.
